White’s tree frogs are laid-back, chunky amphibians known for their adorable faces and calm personalities. Native to Australia and New Guinea, these hardy frogs adapt well to captive life and do best in humid, vertically oriented enclosures with plenty of branches, leaves, and hiding spots. They’re nocturnal insectivores, happily eating any appropriately sized bugs. With their signature chubby appearance and tendency to “smile,” White’s tree frogs are a favorite among beginner and experienced keepers alike.
